Today, several horizontal fermentation tanks rolled off the production line in the workshop.
Unlike common vertical tanks, these horizontal ones are short, stout, and solid, sitting steadily on the welding rotators. The workers have just completed the final automatic circumferential weld, which is uniform and fine, like an exquisite zipper. The quality inspector climbs inside with a flashlight to carefully examine the polished inner surface — mirror-bright, without a single scratch.
“Horizontal tanks have higher requirements for welding; the bottom bears a larger load area, so no defects are allowed,” says the veteran master as he checks off the qualified spots with a marker pen ^_^
