In the corner of the workshop, several horizontal fermentation tanks sit side by side, like a row of “silver eggs” ready to roll.
Unlike common vertical tanks, these horizontal ones are short, stout, and solid — ideal for facilities with limited ceiling height. This batch was custom‑made for a craft brewery in the south. The customer’s workshop is only about three meters high, too low for vertical tanks, so we recommended this horizontal design — same capacity, smarter footprint.
The quality inspector has just completed the final pressure test, marking each weld as approved with a marker. Workers are now wrapping the tanks with insulation cotton, then covering them with the familiar silver protective film. The wooden pallets have been widened and reinforced — after all, horizontal tanks have a lower center of gravity and a larger contact surface, making them more stable during transport than vertical ones.
They will be loaded onto the truck first thing tomorrow morning. We hope that once they reach the customer, they will brew great beer steadily and reliably.
